cab heater a/c blower?
did you apply 12vdc to it directly and its dead>?
scion not corolla (corolla is easy)
tc,xa or xb>>>> no clue, so will look at tc.
but no matter what, i hot wire the blower, first. everyone does.
and the FSm too, it tells you step by step how to do the test.
sorry if all this is old hat, most here dont know this.....
if the blower works hot wired, its good.
ok the FSM covers this job, getone.

. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
- Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly upper
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
- Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly lower
4. REMOVE ECM
5. REMOVE AIR DUCT
6. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY
it looks like the blower just drops out the bottom, did you look?
it has 3 screws hold the motor assy to the main casing.
and the plug is there pin 2 is hot, pin 1 is ground
hot wire pin 2.
facing motor, with conn, at 12pm, pin 2 is LEFT.
the FSM shows a photo of that. and the full steps.
You forgot to mention that there is a metal box with 4 connectors on it mounted below the blower which must be unbolted and moved out of the way before one can gain access to the blower motor. For some reason, removing the old motor was more laborious than putting in the new one.
