Sound and Video are opposites, therefore it is impossible to record a video using sound. (I may have got the question wrong, but here's the other answer)
Your Microphone could be broken or muted. flick through all of the options in settings to find any options to mute the mic when recording videos. If there is no option for that, either try turning up the volume to full or consider either getting the microphone replaced or consider getting a new camera.
This is caused by one of two things. The first thing is that you might have accidentally activated the mute function and as a result, it cannot record the sound of the environment since the mic has been de-activated. The second and most likely thing is that your mic is faulty and can also not record the sound in your environment. You can try to restore the default settings and see if there is any change as the mic settings may have been altered but if it doesn't then you have to send it to an expert technician to help you change the mic. Hope this solution helped you? Please comment if you need more

have you checked to make sure your mic isn't muted ? ... click on the speaker icon in the bottom right of you screen... if microphone is on that list make sure it's not muted... if it's not on the list you can add the control for it... i believe it will say device at the top of that window. add it and make sure it's not muted
Symbian OS/S60 phone: With the Voice Recorder on the screen, open Options. Select Go To Gallery. All the recordings you have saved can be accessed from the Gallery. You should see a list of recorded tunes. Highlight a recording, open Options and choose "Set as ringing tone."
Windows Mobile phone: When you are still in the Voice Recorder, highlight a recording in the list and open the Menu. Select Set As Ringtone.
If your phone menu doesn't show the Set As Ringtone choice at all, you have to set it manually. Go to the Home screen, push Start, and open File Manager. You have to move the recording from the folder /Storage/My Documents/Notes to the folder /Storage/Application Data/Sounds. Then, go to the Start menu and launch Settings. Select Sounds, open Ring Tone, and pick up the recorded ring tone.
Problem is fixable and not expensive either : CCD sensor is faulty and needs replacing. You do have a case for having this problem sorted out by Samsung agent free of charge because the sensor should last 10 years +.
