The Sony KV-36FS100 listed as the model number here DOES NOT HAVE A PANEL--uses a picture tube---if another model/brand let me know.
As far as the broken buttons---they may be available as a unit or not depending on the age of the set.
Getting an original remote would allow you to do without those--if you do not have the original remote (or it does not work) GOOGLE THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE SET WITH "remote" to locate a replacement.
This is for if the lines are thin and arc. You need to turn down the screen voltage for the blue and red CRT. I don't remember if the focus block is in the front or in the back of the tv on this model. Most projections have them in the front.
You could check the back access panel and look for a black box with six knobs as descibed in step 3 below. This is what you are looking for.
follow the steps below if it is located in the front:
1) Remove the front grill 2) There should be access panel you need to remove once you remove the front grill. This is where the screen voltage adjustment is located 3) Look for a small black box with six knobs on it. One row is for "Focus" and one row is for "screen". It will be marked, but probably need a flashlight to see which row it is. There will be a "R", "G" and "B" next to each knob to represent Red, Green Blue respectively.
4) Careful with the access panel removed, you are only inches away from very dangerous voltages. 5) slowly turn the R or B knob counterclockwise until the lines on the screen disappear. Keep your hands away from everything else and only use one hand near the tv. put the other hand behind your back.
6) Once corrected, replace the panel and put the grill cover back on.
No,not repairable, because the front screen panel are 90% of the tv,sorry ur tv now,it only can be salvage for electronic boards for parts, that it.The tv screen panels are only can be purcharse from the tvs corporation themselves. They'll charge u the screen panel the same priced as new tv.Because the tv screen panels are in limited production and 90% improtant to the tv,that why.
Sorry, the LCD screen panel is broken or damages. The tv is not worth repairing.Because the tvs LCD screen panels are 90% of the tvs and it limited production by the tvs industries. The replacement of LCD screen panel to the tv,will cost the same as a new tv.Sorry the tv now, don't worth as a whole tv anymore. The tv now, only can be salvages for electronic boards for parts, that it.
the lamp is located in front below the screen. there is a plastic panel to remove(full width of t.v.) the lamp is in the center held by allen head screws(replacement lamp will supply an allen wrench) be carefull not to get fingerprints or dirt on front of lamp(premature lamp failure will happen) hope this helps.
Seems front screen layers got some dust or some thing that you see as big circles. Need to apart front bazel assembly of TV, remove front screen and clean it carefully because it can be broke easily.
