I have a 25cc craftsman weed eater it don't get spark out of ?the spark plug but I can put a ***** driver in ?the plug wire and get spark

If it has a spark plug try a new one.

change the spark plug--put fresh fuel in gas tank 89 octane mix

best bet ....replace the coil. it comes w/ the wire. BUT iiif it came off the spark plug cap end ,,, you might be able to screw it back in, but make sure it is clean tight fit :O

just bought a new Poulan 25cc 2cycle gas power weed eater . I can start it with the choke on but as soon as put on run it dies.

take the spark plug out and pull the engine over with the spark plug in the wire and ground the plug to the trimmer and see if it sparks. if not flip the switch the other way and see if it sparks then you shall know.

Switch is not shorting out the coil. Pull the handle and check the switch with a volt/ohm meter.

Go to sears.com then parts store then type in model no. You should find a parts breakdown hopefully that will help.
