Are you sure the belt is routed correctly? From front of machine, the belt comes down left side of drum, then clockwise around spring loaded idler pulley, then around motor drive and back to right side of drum.

What is the belt diagram from the deck to the motor for a mower?

1st, Unplug the Dryer from the Power Supply.
You will need the Exact recommended Replacement "Idler Pulley".
With the Belt Ribs Facing Toward the Dryer Drum, position the belt on the tell tale Ring Mark on the Drum letting the Belt Hang Down below the Drum.
Place The New Idler Pulley into the Slots on the Inside Dryer Bottom located near the Motor Mounted Pulley.
(Face The Idler Pulley Toward The Motor Mounted Pulley)
(Hold the Idler Pulley in place in the slots)
Take the "Hanging Belt" & run the Whole Loop "UNDER" the Idler Pulley & then
Attach the "Belt Loop" "AROUND" The Motor Mounted Pulley.
That should do it.
Put the rest of the Dryer Back Together...Done!
Good Luck,
Vinnie

Belt is loose around the dryer drum

The way to visually see if the belt has broken or not is to 1) unplug the dryer. 2) Remove the lint screen on the top of the dryer. 3) take the two phillips head screws out where the lint trap is. 4) with a flat head screwdriver pop the top of the dryer up by sliding the driver inbetween the top and front of the dryer and pry upwards a little. 5) You'll now see the drum, if the belt is not around it its broken, and if it's visible try to lift it. If it taught, its good. IF THE BELT IS BROKEN OR LOOSE CONTINUE TO NEXT STEPS 6) on the left and right upper inner sides of the dryer you will find two screws, one on each side, remove these and the front should be easlily remove. 7) once off you'll be able to easily see the motor, the belts idler pulley, and everything else.
Leave the drum in the machine. Now, directly in front of the motor on the floor of the dryer you will see two slots. This is where the idler pulley will go. You'll notice on the pulley at the bottom of the bracket a piece of metal sticks downward. This will sit in the slot closest to the dryer wall, and the end of the bracket will slide into the other. You'll want to slide the end in first. Now with the pulley in place take the belt and put it around the drum tread side down. To hook the belt around the motor pulley you'll have to pull the idler pulley towards closest dryer wall and place the belt around the motor pulley. Slowly release the idler pulley and thats it. Put it together and your done.

I have a Kenmore Gas Dryer (model 11087471810) that threw its belt. I have the replacement belt and know how to replace that. When I opened the bottom of the dryer, I noticed the Idler pulley sitting at...

The idler pulley/tensioner fastens into two slots in the base of the dryer to the left of the motor . The belt goes around the drum then through the idler to the motor pulley ,you have to make a loop with the excess belt and feed it through the idler pulley, i normally pull the plastic pulley towards the right side of the dryer to give enough belt to go around the motor pulley then let the plastic pulley rest on the backside of the belt. do not turn the drum too much as you may pull the belt back off .

It is your belt that has broken and will not allow the drum to spin, you need to replace your belt on the dryer. I do not have instructions for your dryer, but maybe the instructions for another dryer will give you the idea how to fix your, it is normally an easy fix.

If you hear a loud bang while your dryer is working, and you notice that the
drum has stopped turning, chances are the drivebelt has snapped.
Fortunately, replacing the belt is a fairly straightforward operation that
can be handled with a few simple tools.
First, unplug the dryer. Lift the lint-screen cover and pull out the lint screen
If your dryer has a lint screen on the inside of the door, skip this step.
Then remove the two screws that are under the cover. To unlatch the dryer top,
insert a thin-blade putty knife between the top and front panel,
about 2 1/2 in. in from one corner. Push in on the knife to release the locking
clip, lift the corner, then release the clip on the other side. Swing the top
up and lean it against the wall.
Next, move to the lower toe panel. Slip the putty knife between the lower panel
and the door panel at one side and twist the knife to release the clip
Then release the opposite clip and lift the panel up and off the hinge springs.
To support the dryer drum while the belt is being replaced, place scrap wood
under the front of the drum.
Loosen the two screws at each side of the bottom of the front panel.
Move to the top of the panel and remove the screws from the inside of the
cabinet that hold the front panel to the sides.
Slide the old belt off the drum.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Installing the belt
Lean the front panel out slightly and allow the drum to rest on the scrap wood
support. Drop the new dryer belt between the front panel and the drum, and
loop it over the drum. Then, lift the drum slightly while pushing the front
panel back into position.
Replace the screws at the top inside of the front panel, tighten the lower panel
screws and remove the scrap wood from under the drum. Check to make sure that
the rear drum seal fits properly over the lip on the rear bulkhead.
Position the new belt where the old belt was, with the grooved side of the belt
facing down.
Now, move to the motor area and pull out the old belt. To route the new belt
around the idler and drive pulley, first pass the entire belt, doubled up,
under the idler pulley. Then, push the idler belt toward the motor, slip the
belt around the motor pulley and release the tension on the idler pulley.

Open the dryer door and rotate the drum counterclockwise a few times to make
sure the belt is tracking properly. Lower the top and press down at each
corner to engage the clips. Lift the lint-screen cover, replace the two screws
and reinstall the lint screen. Finally, secure the lower front panel and turn
on the dryer for a test.

Changing the belt

goes around idler pulley and motor. idler pulley fits into slots on bottom of dryer and the belt tension holds it in place. looking at it from the front and going clockwise the belt goes around the drum and then around the motor pulley and thru the idler pulley. in fact if you put the bottom loop of the belt thru the pulley from the left you then loop it around the motor pulley.

Dryer belt has come off tensioner.

The idler pulley fits in the slots on the bottom of the cabinet (in front of the motor) with the wheel or glide facing the left side. Place the belt (grooves inward) around the drum. Pull the belt through the middle of the idler pulley from the left side. Once the belt is pulled through the idler pulley, loop it around the motor pulley (this should force the idler pulley to "open up" and add tension).
With the belt and idler pulley in place, it should look like this...

Need a btlt route so i can put the new drum back in my ge profile

route the belt around the drum, pull the spring loaded idler pulley to the postion that requires you to hold it there..
put the belt : 1 through the motor pulley and around the idler pulley, or 2. around the idler pulley which ever works to keep the tensioner tight. (Idler pulley, tensioner same thing its the pulley not on the motor.
Once you put the belt on the durm, pull the idler pull so there is tension on it it should be clear how it goes.
