The waste toner box is located on the right hand side of the printer. There is a door/cover that opens up on the right side. It is a milky white plastic container. Check to make sure it is there and installed properly and the door is fully closed. If all that is correct it my be full.
There should be a new waste toner container in the toner box (along with a toner). The toner and waste toner are normally replaced at the same time.
If you don't have a new waste toner container you can tray emptying the one that is in the printer BUT be very careful. The toner is a fine powder and can get all over if spilled. If you ever spill toner never use water or any otherliquid to try and clean it, that will just turn it to a liquid ink.Brush it off your cloths and vacuum it up.
If you do try and empty the container and the machine continues to tell you it needs to be replaced it can be because there is still toner on the inside of the toner container and the sensor is seeing it there.
Hi the waste toner box is located at the rear right of the copier. You'll need a Phillips screw driver to undo the 1 or 2 screws that hold on the rectangular panel in that area. Inside you'll find a tall thin box which is the waste toner box. May be that it just needs emptying out (suggest double bin bag)and re fitting.
There are also some counters in service mode which may need resetting though.
open door, remove waste toner box then you have to find a small switch in left side and push it wit screwdriver or something, then you can rotate the toner rack manually. then install the waste toner box again and power up printer.
Your machine catch's excess toner and puts it in a container and needs you to replace/empty it soon or it will have to stop work, sorta like needs just a dash of attention for all its effort.
The bottle at a guess for this model will be apparent when opening front door, instruction are probally on the inside of door but it is just a container full of black messy stuff that needs to be emptyied and replaced....hang on I'll google it....looks like you need to buy a new box and that will have instructions even.
