SOURCE: No Sound in any mode
I had the same problem... but I knew that my 2 yr old had been playing with the headphone jack on the BC-150. Evidently, the system thought that headphones were still plugged in to the port on the front right of the unit, even though none were present. The solution that worked for me was to take some headphones, plug them COMPLETELY into the system (another set of headphones would not insert all the way, so I found a new set and used those to completely insert into the headphone port) while playing a CD and listen for a few seconds and then simply unplug them. Viola! Sound came back. Hope this helps.
SOURCE: No Sound In Home Theater with Dish HDTV DVR Dual Mode Remote Connection
I have a high definition Polaroid tv which I bought in 2007. I have it connected to Dish tv. It worked fine at first. Now when I use the Dish tv remote, the television won't power up. The red light, which appears when the television is off turns blue when I attempt to turn the tv on, but the screen stays black. Why won't the television come on anymore?
SOURCE: no sound from speakers on my Insignia NS-H2002
Very hard to know without actually seeing this first. You may have blown an internal fuse. Or, it simply may have died prematurely (if new and under warranty)
SOURCE: Connect Bose System to Panansonic TV
in the tv setup menu there should be an item that will allow you to change the volume from variable to fixed on the output of the tv
SOURCE: No surrond sound
TV's are not sources of multichannel audio. The best you'll get is stereo analog. Get the best TV-related audio from the same source the TV gets it - in this case the Cable Box.
