I have a Saeco Primea Touch Plus machine that doesn't froth the milk properly and makes a high pitched squeal.

I have a Saeco Primea Touch Plus machine that doesn't froth the milk properly. Some days it works fine others it doesn't froth the milk at all and makes a high pitched squeal type sound. I have replaced the o ring on the top outlet in the machine that goes into the milk container as well as a whole new cappuccinatore and still have the same problem. The machine has done it intermittantly for years and I am really sick of it but can't seem to find any information on this problem. Any help would be great.

Milk frothing is very poor. I have had the machine for 7months and at the moment the frothing has stopped and milk is warm not hot. I have tried to adjust the frothing with the white wheel bu it doesnt...

Hi. Have you removed the white wheel and tried to clean it? Check the O-rings on the frothing part for damages.
Sometimes cleaning it hasnt helped at all, The solution for it that might sound crazy =) that fixed it for me at that time was to block the 2 holes with you fingers(be carefull its hot) where the milk comes out from when you make coffee, you get a little backpressure in the milk circuit when doing it. Try 2 or more times. It helpt me.

Saeco Primea Touch

If you use the milk feature, please make sure that you rinse after making a milk drink or the machine will automatically request a milk cleaning cycle which is different than a rinse. For example if you make a milk drink and you skip the rinse cycle and leave the machine without rinsing for more than 20 minutes it will schedule a mandatory milk cleaning cycle.

It is okay to skip milk rinsing if you are making drink after drink as long as you rinse after the last cup.

Hope this helps you out.
