Measure the Generator after 10 minutes the first measure but not only to one power outlet with doing a measure with a multimeter its not done so because the generator is fully unloaded then you will see 105 vac
Measure on one outlet and use a paint stipper a 2000 watt type and measure at the same time on the second power outlet with a multimeter on AC you should get more volts out to measure instead of 105 volts then you hear that its generate power and blow more smoke you will be seen a 115 or 120 volts if you increase this generator its possible you get if you are increase the idle power to 120 volt can create an over loading of 200 volt or more over the outlets that can give damage if it the stator electric field generate power outside its level it can blow up your expensive tools and in a short time you think there is not enough power on my tools anymore then your armatures are become bad and the tools are hot in a short time warmt dissipation has blow up armature and nothing smels hot but the tools are blowing up. and you see nothing inside because the tools will not are getting black burned and hot but the to high magnetic pulse burns the weak points inside the armature in a fraction of time.
Beware of that the adjusting is normally doing with a tacho meter and a suggestion of about 3000rpm and not more of the stator what its max depend on model . but adjust by the load power of a working paint stripper it can have enough if you adjust 120 volt by load.

Output voltage is based on 3600 rpm @ 60Hz. Sounds like your generator is over speeding slightly. Put a Frequency meter on the output of the generator and tune it to 61.5 Hz, that will get your generator in the 3600 RPM range.
There are many different models of Briggs used however simple methed is to find the governor shaft. Attached to the small shaft will be a lever with the governor spring and linkage that connects to the throttle. One end of the governor spring attaches to the lever and other is attached to either an adjustment screw with locknut or metal tab that can be bent. Increasing the pull of the governor spring on the lever will cause the engine rpm to increase. Bend the tab to allow for greater pull or adjusting the bolt with locknut. Make sure that the engine is not turning much more than 3600 rpm. Use a digital meter with Hz setting to set the output cycles at 60. When set at 60 cycles the engine should be turning about 3600 rpm which is where the engine develops max power.
Not sure what you mean "high voltage rpm power generator out", however many people have asked how to adjust the engine for proper voltage output. On generators with~out a voltage regulator, I adjust the engine RPM by using a digital voltage meter that has a Hz setting. Adjust the governor untill the meter displays 60 Hz. With the geneator producing 60 cycles, I know that the engine is turning 3600 rpm (the engine produces max hp when it is turning 3600 rpm). At this point, read the voltage output to verify that the range is between 115 ~ 120. On generators with a voltage regulator, verify/adjust that generator is producing 60 cycles then adjust voltage by turning screw at the regulator (some regulators are sealed with potting compound and can not be adjusted). If your power demands are not that great and you appliance can operate at 50 cycles, adjust governor as needed. Lowering to 50 cycles will also reduce output voltage. Good luck
With parts list in hand, look at reference #21 governor arm and reference 89/90 adjustment screw. This adjustment will increase decrease engine speed. I would use a meter with hz setting to set engine speed to achieve 60 cycles. Sixty cycles on the meter would indicate that the engine is turning 3600 rpm which is max. If all working correctly, voltage should be around 120v at 3600 rpm and 60 cycles. Good luck
Voltage is adjusted by increasing rpm of engine. Use meter with Hz setting and try to adjust to 60 cycles and check voltage to be at about 115-120. If engine is turning 3600rpm/60 cycles and voltage is very low, then problem is most likely with brushes/ commutator rings, or voltage regulator. Some voltage regulators have an adjustment screw to bring voltage up/down (adjust to proper rpm/cycles first). Good luck
Most generators use a flyball type governor within the engine to control rpm; also there is a voltage regulator that tries to maintain voltage at about 115v. The voltage regulator varies the voltage to the armature increasing /adjusting magnetic force. Use a meter with htz or freq setting to adjust engine governor to 60 cycles. When the generator is producing 60 cycles, the engine should be turning 3600 rpm, max power range. At 3600 rpm the voltage should be 115 to 120 volts. Loading the generator will cause governor to try to maintain 3600 rpm. Check engine manual for proper adjustment of gonvernor and linkage. The governor mech should last the life of the engine, however governor system does wear out. Expensive repair. enjoy
