In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
On many of these (I am not familiar with this exact one) you push the volume up and down buttons on the set (not the remote) at the same time and hold them for a second or two. Try this. Philips has a customer help line that can help you as well, but expect a long wait and much irritation.
