I have the Bosch Vision 500 Series with the E:12 error. My issue was the water inlet valve. When the washer was filling up very little water could be seen coming into the washer and if you just hit the button eventual you would get enough water usually three times during entire wash cycle. Replaced the water inlet valve myself in about 5 minutes very easy. YouTube videos show exactly how to do it. Now the water comes in almost covering half of the front window. Just finished first wash without and problems.
This happend to me once, and it was in relation to a blocked intake filter.
- Check that the intake houses are not cloged and the small filter under neath is clean (Use an old tooth brash) - Also check the opening on the front bottom left of the machine. (Open with a flat head screw driver) . My one had coins in it. Note: drain with the small pipe into a backet so when you open it you don't have watter everywere.
remove the front panel and check for obstructions in the drain pump also on some models there is a catch screen in the tub to pump hose if you have a shop vac pull the water out of the drain hose first as there will be water in the unit
Are you sure that water fills the tub ?
Close the hot water tap and check if cold water fills in, then close the cold water tap and open the hot water one and check whether hot water fills in.
Let me knw with your test results.
