Keep it simple - merely pull the phone line from the back of the main unit and nada will work or wake you.

  • Anonymous Mar 04, 2016

Thanks and thanks for not sayin' "Keep it simple stu**d!" LOL The only issue with pulling the phone line out is that when I plug it back up I won't know on the caller ID who'd called, but other than that, pulling the phone line out works fine! Thanks!

Why and how does my fitbit flex go into "sleep mode?"

You can enter or leave the "Sleep mode" by tapping the Flex rapidly for 1-2 seconds. You'll feel a vibration and the LEDs will blink. (The blinks will depend on if you are entering or leaving sleep mode.) In this mode, the Fitbit Flex reduces the LED intensity and doesn't give alerts. Afterwards, it will provide some data about your sleep pattern - length, movement, waking up during the night. This can help you determine the quality of your sleep. (Note: it isn't a replacement for consulting a doctor if you always wake up tired.)

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(You can manually enter your sleep and wake times into the app without using "Sleep mode". Then the app will use the movement data from the Flex to determine sleep quality. However, LED lights (primarily blue frequencies) are known to reduce sleep quality so dimming them helps most people sleep better. The alerts will also interrupt your sleep and reduce the quality.)

Why does moto assist continue to shut off my ringer, even though I have it disabled?

Jem
What model phone do you have and what is the current Android version on your phone?

When you say shut off ringer are you referring to the sleep function of Moto Assist which allows you to set time to not be interrupted?

Need my sleep !!!

You could try downloading a silent ringer to use as a global default ringer (for when your sleeping) and set your wife, daughter, and school as a specific audible ring tone. Then when you wake up just change the global default back to an audible one.
