I have a Schumacher 6/2 amp dual charger, SE-82-6. I took off the clamps. Now don't know which wire is positive. One has a white line on it.

You do not, there is no fuse. Refer to the instructions that came with unit, for troubleshooting.

Probably not worth repairing. Meaning, the cost to repair will most likely exceed the value of the charger.

RED is always positive

use meter it will give u a negative reading if your leads are backwards

I have the same one. The black wire from teh ac cord has a white connector that goes on the switch but there are 4 choices. I need a diagram as well.

the meter goes down as it's charging.

When the amp meter reads 0, then it is no longer drawing amps and is fully charged.
