That means a speaker is shorted or the wire for the speaker has come in contact with the chassis of the vehicle.

Kenwood stereo DDX69028 error message

The error message "Miswiring DC offset" on a Kenwood DDX69028 stereo typically indicates a problem with the wiring or power supply. Here's what you can try to resolve the issue:
1. Check the Wiring Connections: Ensure that all the wiring connections are properly made. Verify that the power, ground, and speaker wires are securely connected and not loose or disconnected. Pay attention to any loose or exposed wires that may be causing a short circuit.
2. Check the Power Supply: Make sure that the power supply to the stereo is stable and within the specified voltage range. Use a multimeter to measure the voltage at the power wire connection and ensure it matches the recommended voltage for your stereo model.
3. Verify the Speaker Connections: Ensure that the speaker wires are properly connected and not shorted or crossed. Check for any loose strands of wire that may be causing a connection issue.
4. Inspect for Short Circuits: Look for any signs of a short circuit, such as bare wires touching each other or the vehicle's chassis. If you find any, isolate and insulate the affected wires to prevent further issues.
5. Reset the Stereo: Try resetting the stereo to its factory defaults. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to perform a reset. This may help clear any temporary errors or glitches.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to consult the user manual or contact Kenwood's customer support for further assistance. They will have specific troubleshooting steps and can provide guidance based on your stereo model and the exact error message you're experiencing.

Kenwood ddx375bt displaying miswiring dc offset

GET THE USER MANUAL OR SERVICE MANUAL
AND SEE THAT THAT MEANS.
IT CAN BE,
12VDC TO THE (POWER) IS BAD 12VDC AND GROUND
OR (seems to me NOT POWER)

CAN mean one of speakers failing like this.(this)
1: shorted speaker, (CALLED VOICE COIL SHORTS
2: shorted speaker WIRES, to shorted to car body ground.
3 using wrong speaker if 2ohms is not allowed but 4-8ohms is allowed. or putting 2x 4 ohm speakers in parallel fails. as it will;./
4: amp is bad.(in the head end)

page 62 in your manual states

If the power is not turned on ("Miswiring DC Offset
Error", "Warning DC Offset Error" is displayed),
the speaker wire may have a short circuit or
have touched the chassis of the vehicle and the
protection function may have been activated.
Therefore, the speaker wire should be checked

THE REAL MEANING, (ME TOLD) IS ONE OF THE SPEAKER PRESENTS A OVERLOAD TO ANY AMP OUTPUT CHANNEL.
TO FIND THISONE MUST DISCONNECT SPEAKERS TO FIND IT.
YES SPEAKERS AND WIRES CAN SHORT.
A TECH EVEN TRIES TEST SPEAKER 1 AT TIME TO PROVE THIS.
IF ALL TESTS FAIL THE AMP IS BAD.

Kenwood 6020dnx shows DC offset error ONLY AFTER I started the car.. before it was playing music fine. When I started the car it showed the message

That error is normally a shorted speaker wire but starting the car won't cause that. Possible problem could be the dimmer wire was used as a ground by mistake. Lights come on when the car starts. Another is too high of voltage. Car rests at 12 volts but is around 14 when running. Was there a plastic piece on the red or yellow wire that got cut off during the install? They have a resistor inside that keeps the voltage down.

Receiver doesn't play sound until it's warmed up 5 - 10 minutes

Unfortunately, your question has too many variables. Try this. Unplug the unit. Plug it back in. When you first push the power button, you should immediately hear one mechanical click from the unit, followed by a second click with 5-10 seconds. If you don't hear the second click, the unit may have a condition known as DC Offset. It would be unusual to have DC Offset only within the first 5-10 minutes. It's possible that power supply has an issue where both the positive and negative voltages are not coming up at the same time.

How to resolve miswiring problem on jvc steeo car

MIS WIRING" is displayed when there is a DC offset voltage detected at the speaker terminals ('+' and '-').

This is normally caused by connecting a '+' or '-' speaker wire to either GND or Vcc (+12V)

1. Collect cable not being used and make sure they are tapped off and reset

2. Remove a connected cable one at a time and press RESET

3. If after a cable removal and reset the error goes away, last cable removed was fault. Examine cable for short.

4. If you remove and reset all cables except for (RED, YELLOW, and BLACK) and you stilll have error, the short is internal of unit and requires service
