I have two symbols on the top of the screen that are not in the user guide. One looks like a butterfly with the head towards the signal meter. and the other looks like a red mega phone with the wide bottom facing the signal meter. Also on the setting menu I have under calls a divert calls option. What is this for and how is it used.

The butterfly one is your bluetooth, the red mega one you described is the infrared port which are different ways of connectivity to transfer data between devices. The divert calls means you can have the call forward to another number or voicemail depending on your phone and services. I hope this helped some.
