To determine if the backlight driver or the T-Con board is the problem, di this. With the TV on shine a flashlight on the screen. Look for a faint picture. If you can see one then the backlight control board is bad. If you see no movement or any picture at all, the T-Con board is bad. Two things need to be checked. The ballast board and the T-con board. Shine a flashlight on the screen with the TV on...If you see a faint picture moving, then the T-Con board is OK. Here's how you determine if it's the T-Con board. Turn the TV on and shine a flashlight on the screen. If you can see the program you're hearing then the T-Con board is OK. The inverter board controls the back lights. This board is the problem.
First thing I would look at is the t-con board it is located at the top of the tv and controls both halves of the screen. Also make sure all voltages coming from the power supply is good as well. You should be able to find another t-con board on ebay or shopjimmy dot com.
Hello It is due to some loose fixation with its flat cables that connected to lcd disply screen to its T'con board. T'con [Timing Control] board is the driving board to LCD display. If there is some loose contact, the fault you describes here can occur. Just open the TV, and detach and reattach each flat cables that connects with T'Con board ot LCD screen. This must solve the probel of your TV. OK.
