Food processor not working
I would agree with the first poster about checking the lid interlock, other causes are bad motor or bad start/stop switch associated control board, first use your nose and smell near the bottom of the unit does it smell burnt like an old dusty space heater, this is a good indication the motor windings are bad, I would suggest you replace the entire machine as sone motors cost the price of a new one, however if nothing is burnt smelling and the lid is on then your control boad is the next possible culprit, depending on model they range from $45-$80.
