I've seen this many times before, when a customer / account gets a new fax machine, or is using a different fax machine. All the other faxes go through without a hitch, except for these. If fax machines become a couple generations apart / 10 years, they won'
t communicate sufficiently enough to make the fax hand shake and the Fax fails to go through.
this is just the transition speed and line condition and you dont have to worry about it , the machine will give you an error code if the faxes dont go through alturnativly contact the reciever of the fax to check that they have recieved it
if you enable send report you can get an a4 page with time and date confirming that the fax has been sent, but when set up it will print for every fax. the other option is to have it print on error only and you can manually print report of sent recieved items( all date and time stamped) with the number sent to as a list.
Try sending your fax to a lower baude rate to 14,000 bps, I had this problem before and I solved it by sending to a lower sending speed bacause the line was very noisey.
If you can send and receive faxes from other telephone numbers, do not worry. However is sending that annoying fax has humidity issues with his phone line.
WHEN FAXING BOTH MACHINES NEED TO RECOGNISE EACH OTHERS NUMBERS (NO NUMBERS CAN BE BLOCKED) AND YOU HAVE TO PROGRAM YOUR NUMBER INTO YOUR FAX MACHIE BY RUNNING THE INITIAL SETUP
Hello,Mafriend,It sounds like you might have recieved a Fax machine that Recieved a surge,To verify this Ck the Jack where the Phone line goes in to see if you have any type of discoloration there, also see if it locks up your phone line from making calls or recieving Them
