Usually this is done one of two ways
if the phone has a menu button
press it once then use the arrow keys until you see "ring" or "ring tone" in the display
then use the arrow keys again and you should hear different ring tones. when you find the one you like press the menu button to lock it in

if the phone has a program button and no menu button
keep pressing the program button until you see "ring tone" in the display.then use the arrow keys until you hear the ring tone you like. then press the program button several times until you exit the programming mode.

you can follow the above steps to set the ringer volume also

How do i change the ringtone on htc wildfire phone?

To change the ringtone press MENU, and then tap Settings. Tap Personalize > Default ringtone. The Phone ringtone selection menu then opens and you can scroll through the available ringtones and tap the ringtone you want to use then tap OK.

Change intercom ringtone

There is no way to change the ultra-annoying intercom ringer tone.

Suffer through, or just tell the wife there will be dire consequences if she continues to use.

I have a really annoying ringtone for when people call me and I can't figure out how to change it. Any suggestions?

amanda, on your phone there should be a place where all your music is stored, go to the song/ringtone that you want and then click on the options button and click on 'set as ringtone/use as ringtone''

hope this helped :) x

I have a motorola VE240 phone. I have downloaded ringtones in my sounds files. How do I take those files and use them as ringtones.

To take sound files you have downloaded you have to move them to the phone memory instead of the memory stick. Also you have to send the sound to a MMS msg to yourself and then save it. It is very stupid and annoying that the manufacturer Motorola did it this way, they really shouldnt be taking the ringtone companies best interests over the end users.

I don't seem able to find the list of ringtones on the phone. It only has one at the moment which is pretty annoying!!

It seems that most Samsung uses the same pathway to get to ringers and assign them to incoming voice calls. Here's the pathway in your phone (hopefully)
menu > settings > sounds > ringer types > voice calls > select with caller id or without caller id (your preference) > single tones/ringtones, melodies or my content and press menu/ok

Ringtones

I have the same problem. Where are the other 7 ringtones that are suppose to be available. This phone has only 3 choices available, and i think they've put the 3 most annoying ring tones all in this one phone.
