SOURCE: I need WIRING DIAGRAM of JVC audio component Model

Is there a problem or are you cabin-bound and really bored?

Or do you want an instruction manual?

If the latter, go to http://www.retrevo.com, register and download it for free. I found it using "JVC MX-D602T" as a search.

SOURCE: JVC MX-GT88 sound system showing protected them shut off why

Chances are that something is blown in the power output stages and units shuts down to protect against further damage.

Repair or replace, which ever is cheaper!

Connect JVC MX-GT88 speakers to a differant reciever

If it has a bi-amp, you can connect the speakers to it. By the amplifier, if it's a stereo with bi-amp, be sure that it has at least 400 watts and up in order for the speakers to turn out great, if a receiver like a integrated amplifier, it may have like 2-10 connections, you can connect the speakers all together if it has more than 3 connections, if below 3, you may need to take the speakers apart and make it 3 way by connecting one wire to the tweeter, another wire from the tweeter to the main or mid speaker then one more wire from the main or mid speaker to the sub.

Jvc home component mx-kb30 protect mode on

First check that the speaker wires are not shorting, if okay! the problem is in the audio output stage of the receiver, the protect mode comes on if a load is detected.

My JVC mx-gc5 stereo says protect and then shuts off

If protect is coming up on the display, it means the system is detecting a short somewhere on one of the speakers and so is turning the amp off to avoid damage.
Check all the connections at the back of the amp to ensure they are not shorting, and at the back of each speaker, if nothing is found there, check each wire for damage (like squashed or rodent damage).

No audio

The word PROTECT appears because there is a short. It can be in your speakers, try running it without the speakers plugged or check to see if your speaker wires are touching (shorting).
If it still says PROTECT, its because there is a short somewhere in the system, probably from the output section.
The system does this to prevent anything from damaging the electronic components inside.

A power surge zapped my JVC MX-D661T compact component system. Any hope for it?

Open it up and check for internal fuses, if any in there, test with a wire, bulb and battery. The values (voltage and amperage) will be on the fuses or next to the fuse holders. Also look for any obvious burnt components like diodes( small bleck tripods) and capacitors(coloured "tubes" with a wire at each end) and resisters(like capacitors but with coloured stripes on). Obviously it will be cost dependent.
And most important UNPLUG BEFORE OPENING and be cautious as capacitors may be small but they can hold a very high voltage for a long time.
