The manual should tell you how to clean this product. If you don't have the manual, just do a google search of the brand and model number, put the word "manual" in the search and you likely will find the manual. Or, go straight to the Vicks company website; a lot of times one can find manuals for products directly from the manufacturer. Good luck!
i know why. clean the small long tubular thing that is sucking the water. put a q tip in there and get the gunk out. thats what you need to do -- try it and let me know if it worked. [email protected] it worked for me!
The best thing around your house is bleach, it kills mold dead. Mold needs moisture, food, air so removing any one of those will kill it. I would try cleaning with soap and water with a little bleach every two weeks and see how it goes, they increase or decrease the time between cleanings as determined necessary. Remmeber bleach stains anything it comes in contact so be careful with it. Good Luck, Gilshultz
you have to open the lid to the scent pad heater tray. the vicks pads go inside of there. now if you touch them with your hands you need to immediately wash hands after. cause of the fumes will be very strong. then close unit and turn on and it should work properly
