It was out of staples, I loaded it and now it will not staple automatically or manually. Did not jam, no jam in stapler. What do I do?

Turnthe stapler upside down and shake it to clear out staples you can't reach withyour fingers. 4. Gripthe jammed staple with the needle-nose pliers and, while holding the staplersecurely, pull it up. 5. You may nave too many staples remove half of them and see it that helps

There were a few staples left in the cartridge when the stapler stopped working. I went thru all the steps on bottom for stapler after changing the cartridge with two different cartridges. It makes the noise and puts marks in the paper, but no staples come out of it.

First, are you using the recommended staples for this stapler? Many heavy duty electric staplers don't use "standard" desk staples. Second, try unplugging the stapler, unloading the staples, and if possible, reach a couple of fingers into the stapler and try manually pushing up on the staple head to see if you can get the driver blade to come down. Does it come down smoothly, or does it seem like there is something stuck in there? If you aren't sure about disassembling the unit (my usual method-but I'd recommend having the parts diagram handy), try using a flashlight to look at the underside of the staple head, where the staples come out - can you see anything stuck in there? If so, you might be able to use a small knife blade or small dental pick to get jammed staple pieces out.
