A factory reset would not help you. Sorry. Check heating element, heating sensor. Faulty wash pump could also be the issue.

No dishwasher heats up the wash water, even the commercial ones rely on an external heater. The coil that's in the bottom is for drying the dishes only! There is no reset on the machine. Try resetting the circuit breaker if it's hard wired.

I'm sure you disrupted the sequencing! If its full of water, drain it. If its got no water in it, then manually fill it! This should get you back into sequence and up and running.

SOURCE: Our Siemens dishwasher retains water and smells

I would check the bottom of the dishwasher to see if there are any bones, old food built up as some of these collection systems have a small disposer built into them.
If you find any food, it's probably that.
Also, you can make sure that the drain line is the proper length and high enough as this is a common problem. Do a good search on proper drain height for dishwasher.
You may run an empty load of dishes with a cup of bleach added to eliminate the odor as well. Bleach will kill any bacteria causing the smell. More than likely the drain hose wasn't installed correctly.

SOURCE: siemens lady dishwasher is getting stuck on

I removed the dishwasher and put fill hose on mains pressure. (30 to 45psi or 2 to 3 bar). Working ok now. May be issue with water pressure switch ?

SOURCE: Hello, i have a Siemens

It's possible that the Aqua-Stop flood protection system has been activated. I can probably help you, but I really need more information.

1. When you start a wash program, can you hear the pump running? - This will be a low pitch humming sound.
2. There is a dome/mushroom shaped plastic protrusion in the bottom of the washing compartment, located behind and between the salt compartment cap and the drain. Can you lift this up (be gentle) or is it already up and can only be pushed down?

Please post this information and I will try to assist you further.

Hi,
The varioSpeed symbol means the running time is shortened depending on the washing program.

Do you see an error code displayed - Siemens dishwasher error codes inform you that there's a problem with your machine. Please have look here

The dishwasher doesn't finish the 30 min program. The display shows 1 minute remaining but the washer doesn't stop.

It sounds like the d/w has a heating issues. Possible internal failure of the heating relay.

My dishwasher is sticks in between washing cycles

These mechanical timer machines have to follow a series of logical steps to complete the program - ie, empty. fill to level 1. wash. heat to temp. etc etc
My guess is the machine is not heating, as you say it works for part of the program - or possibly it is not emptying correctly? check water heating element and drain pump.
Program 4 eco is a separate program from 3, using low temperature washing - the machine does stop between 3 and 4 normally and doesnt carry on through.

Clean light flashing

this is a safety failure of the unit not heating the water properly. if you push the " water heat, air dry, water heat, air dry" in that order, then it will go into the program mode and clear out that failure code.
then try the unit again, if you open the door during the heat cycle or it doesnt heat properly it will happen again. make sure you have hot enough water, 120 degrees, going to the unit and dont open the door after you start the cycle. if it continues call sears for service as it has a 1 year warranty.

My siemense dishwasher (2 month old) stopped working
No matter which program I choose, after 1 min the program stops and I get "tap" symbol on the led display.

Dishwasher keeps running

I have seen this several times, and all of the times it has a bad control board. usually if you take the control board out, you can see a visibly burnt spot on the back of it wher a connection has melted. Another possible slowrun time problem could be that the water coming into the dishwasher when it fills is not hot. If it isnt hot, it takes the dishwasher longer to heat the water to temp, and therfore it runs longer. Is the water coming out of your tap reasonably hot? if not you may need to turn up your water heater settings. But if nobody has messed with the water heater, or the tap where the dishwasher is attached and the problem just started then thats probably not it. Good Luck!
