Lint traps are in dryers, not washers If clothes still come out wet then perhaps the water pump is not working properly and/or the drum is not spinning fast enough to allow centrifugal force to remove water from clothes.

After every wash the lent stays on the clothes

here are a few suggestions Two things that come to mind...1) Your wash time is too long. Unlike front loaders, top loaders clean quickly. No need to use the longest wash setting unless the item is really dirty.
2) You are overloading the machine. Items should move freely and circulate from top-to-bottom several times during the wash.
3) try using more detergent, One of the things good detergent does is keep lint (and dirt) suspended in the water and off your clothes. 4)http://www.ehow.com/how_2083872_clean-washing-machine-lint-trap.html

Where is the lint trap on the front loader

There is no lint trap. There is a coin catcher on the pump. The design of the wash action on a front loader is such there is less lint than on standard machines. One of the bennies of the design.

Washing machine lint trap

There is no trap per say. The lint catcher is self cleaning when the water is pumped out. It sounds like you are overloading it and the clothes are hitting the agitator. Operation should be agitation by water movement not beat by the plastic fins, run a wash cycle hot water no clothes to flush things out and try smaller loads.

Why does my washing machine leave lint on my clothes? does this type of washer have a lint catcher?

Most washers don't have lint traps, the dryers are expected to. In your type of top loader some simple traps would be located in the top cap of the agitator. They should be cleaned each load, but they only stop the bigger pieces.

Whirlpool dryer won't dry

If your dryer spins and heats properly and the clothes don't dry, then very simply put, the moist air is not being taken away. If your drying temp is adequate, then the problem is with the exhaust. Go to where the air is being exhausted outside your home, if working properly, when you put your hand on the air coming out, it should get damp very quickly. And ALWAYS clean the lint trap after every load!!!!
