Wondering how to find latitude and longitude coordinates? Welcome to WhatsMyGPS.com, an easy way to find the latitude and longitude location of any place on Earth! It's a great way to share your address, favourite locations, travel destinations, or Geocaching coordinates. You can also use WhatsMyGPS.com to get GPS location coordinates for your handheld or mobile GPS receiver. For Geography lovers, for hikers, for trivia, or just for fun, it's "Where in the World?" Greenwich Mean Time or Meridian Time has been a time standard since 1884. It was chosen because the Prime Meridian (the line of 0° Longitude) runs through Greenwich. Greenwich was a royal park and palace on a hill to the south of the River Thames east of London. In 1675 the great race to create accurate maps for navigators had begun and Charles II offered the land to The Royal Society for Britain's first national observatory. Christopher Wren was commissioned to designed the domed building and John Flamsteed was appointed Astronomer Royal. British mapmakers began to set Longitude from Greenwich and in 1884 it was adopted as the international meridian or starting point. Every 15° longitude represents one hour's difference in time: (24 x 15 = 360, the degrees of a circle). You can work out the time at every location on earth if you know how many degrees it is east or west of Greenwich. - See more at: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/what-is-gmt#sthash.BXqZe5oG.dpuf

I have an Invicta watch Model #6193. My question is does the second hand supposed to not move? And how does the power reserve work on this particular watch? My second hand doesnt move. I wondering is this...

As to the power reserve.....It's just there to give you an estimate of how much power is left in your battery. As far as your question about the second hand.....My guess is that you are looking at the hand for the GMT function (which stands for Greenwich MeanTime...Greenwich is a place in Great Britain where the prime time zone is located, but most people just use this function as a second time zone). Can you confirm or deny that my supposition is correct or not? (in regards to you thinking the GMT hand was the second hand?? Use clarification request if I am mistaken and when you explain again what you need answered, please also post whether or not the watch is keeping correct time or not. Thanks!! and Best of luck to you!

How do i set the the 24 hour hand in a rolex 16758

Yours is the original GMT Master. The GMT Master II allows the GMT hand and the regular hour hand to be set differently but not on your older model. On yours, the regular hour hand the the GMT hand are fixed so that if the triangle on the rotating bezel is at the top, the GMT hand will indicate local time. To indicate time in a 2nd timezone, rotate the bezel to orient the time to the GMT hand. There's a copy of the original instructions posted at: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=45269

How to set and use the subdial on my invicta model 5749 gmt watch

While I'm not familiar with that particular model, most GMT hands are set by turning the crown "backwards" in the date setting position. IOW, if you set the date by pulling the crown out to the first detent and turning it clockwise, turning it counter-clockwise will set the GMT indicator.

I just purchased an Invicta Sea Wizard Chronograph Watch, and after taking it out of the box I noticed the large second hand does not move. The watch seems to keep time, but the scond hand is frozen in...

The large second hand is actually the GMT hand for a second time zone. The second hand is the small sub dial at the 2 o'clock position. The large hand with the red arrow is the alarm time.

Resetting GMT hand

I have CL1180 and had the same problem, pulling the winder out to position 2 (fully out) and using the buttons resets the second and 10th second hands and putting the winder in position1 and using the buttons does the same for the minute and hour hands. However finding position1 was tricky, only seems to work on the way out from fully home and not on the way back from pos 2.

Hope that helps.
