It could be where you can plug gamecube controllers into and put gamecube memory cards in as well.

SOURCE: Can't get my Wii to connect to internet via LAN Adapter.

Hello,
First thing to verify is that your using the licensed wii lan adapter, then you can go to www.nintendo.com and click on the support link to look up the error codes your getting. Have you called into nintendo to ask if you have a compatible router? may want to try that as well.

SOURCE: Nintendo Wii works fine on standard tv but not on hdtv.

FOUND THE PROBLEM !!!!! The problem appears to be the Freeview somehow interfering with the Wii signal. When the aeriel lead is removed the Wii works fine, and the audio/visual signal is great. When the aeriel lead is in I have the problems. I hope this solution proves to be of use to anyone else having similar problems.

I m trying to connect Internet but I m getting the error code 51422 Please help what should I do?

1. Make sure that you are using the Wii LAN Adapter made by Nintendo. LAN adapters not made by Nintendo likely will not work with the Wii console.

2. Ensure that the Wii LAN Adapter setup is correct, and that the Wii LAN Adapter was connected with the console turned off.

3. Check to see if the ethernet cable you are using is not working properly, by connecting another ethernet cable from your router/modem to the Wii LAN Adapter. If the connection works using a different cable, then the problem was with the first cable.

4. If possible, try another Wii LAN Adapter.

My wii wont turn on checked connections all seem fine

You may need to reset your power cable. Disconnect the cables from both your Wii and the wall and TV so they are not connected to anything and let them sit for 10-15 minutes. This does what Nintendo calls a power cable reset and should fix the error.

We have recently moved home and our nintendo wii remotes have stopped working. i have checked all the connections and have put new batteries in them

Make sure the Wii is plugged in correctly and the light on the power button is on.
open the small panel in the front of the Wii and open the battery panel at the bottom of the Wii remote
and press the red buttons together
If you had been suffering from batteries lasting a little while then Nintendo will replace the controller for free

Problem displaying nintendo wii graphics

After more checking around I found out this is not an uncommon problem with the wii. Apparently there is a design flaw that causes the graphics card to overheat, which creates various types of distortion. It may have something to do with using wiiconnect24. I am sending my wii back to nintendo for repairs.
