Hello friend, thank you for your post!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire refrigerator is making high pitched noises after the door has been opened. With our current refrigerators the new modern, high-efficiency compressors operate much faster than older models. The compressor may have a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound. If you feel that further assistance is needed please contact your manufacturer for any warranty coverage. -Matt
SOURCE: High-pitched noise
Could you specify if noise is coming from : - The freezer - The outside back of the refrigerator - The bottom of the refrigerator
SOURCE: Freezer unit makes whistling sound
This indicated obstruction of air flow. Is there a change in cooling temperatures also? Thanks, Sea Breeze
SOURCE: Refrigerator gurling noise when door closes
There is a water evaporation tray in the back of the frig. Air pressure fron closing door makes air bubble thru tray. Its not a problem.
Thank you for your post, friend!
Based off the information you have provided it sounds like you are hearing the compressor come on. In the newer, high-efficiency compressors they operate much faster than the older models and some may put out a high pitched hum or pulsating noise. I hope this helps. -Matt
