Black Screen

It sounds as if the lamp has failed possibly due to a failed cooling fan (the fan should be the first thing to come on). here are the links to the user manual if you need it; http://merchant.satisfusion.com/sf/library/manuals/owners/50_55_60VG825.pdf and http://merchant.satisfusion.com/sf/library/manuals/owners/50_55_60VG825_Part2.pdf It may be worth trying to uninstall and reinstall the lamp, but usually these fail internally rather than having bad connections etc. It is often obvious when the lamp has gone from a visual inspection. If the lamp has failed, when you replace it, make sure the fan comes on - if not then turn off instantly and investigate further. One other possibility before buying a new lamp, is that the lamp compartment cover may not be properly fitted. This will interrupt the power, so I am assuming there is a microswitch or similar that the cover or the screws that hold it should contact. Possibility is that the cover is badly fitted, or a small piece of the cover has broken, which would normally contact the switch, or the switch is faulty - if you can see the switch then a continuity meter will easily test the switch. Also check that the lamp unit securing screws are properly tightened, they also may stop the TV powering on. Please ask again if you need more help with this, if you are unsure then a photo of the inside of the lamp compartment and the lamp itself may help :)

I have a Sharp AquosTV model LC-52D64U. My kids were watching and turn it off and 1 hour later I try to watch tv but it won't turn on. A flashing green power light and ocp lights are on, the power

Do a hard reset to this set, and check. To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If it do not help you, make sure that the main board is faulty. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Blinking codes details to many popular brand TVs are given. Surf the site with patience. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty

Screen black, front indicator light on. won't shut off, must unplug. Is there bulb to replace?

Hi,
No bulbs to replace except for the CCFL's which is highly unlikely their causing the problem. If you have sound and no picture then either the inverter boards or power supply need repair or replacing. If there is no sound and no picture only the front indicator light is on then this is a power supply problem. It could also be the power supply is sensing a fault from another circuit and shutting its self down to prevent further damage too the TV and electrical fire hazards. The TV is in self-protect-mode because there's a OVP, OCP, detection on one of the circuits. OVP: Over Voltage Protection, OCP: Over Current Protection. This is a very common problem with Vizio LCD TV's so it shouldn't cost much to service this problem at your local shop.

My tv sony wega dont turn on an the standby light blinks 16 times model KV-32FV310

Hello
Standby light on Sony TVs blinks 16 times is abnormal I thiks. It may come up to 8 blinks or so. You jsut switch off the set by AC mains switch at the front panel, switch it again with it and count the exact numbers. Never switch it On_Off by remote hanset.
If it happens even after this process, you just do the following
Press the following button on your remote control as stated
"Display"_"Channel"_"5"_"Vol Minus" [not plus] then "Power".
You may get "OVP" "OCP" "V STOP" etc displayed on the screen.
Just report the result to me through Fixya. Ok.

Set up only visible for 2 seconds, then black - Aquous lc-37d43u

Unfortunately I can promise you that you CANNOT repair this. Your power and opc lights coming on, but the tv is not coming on. That is a issue within the tv. Give sharp a call and they will have somebody come fix your tv free of charge, if they cant fix it, they will replace it for free. That is the only thing you can do. Sorry bro
