1. The claim time period may be printed on your scratch-off ticket.

Assuming you reside in the USA and the scratch-off lottery ticket was purchased in a state in the USA, the prize claiming time period will be dependent upon the rules for the particular state lottery. Meaning: You will need to check with the US state lottery information specific to your lottery ticket. That means you will need to go to the website of the lottery for the US state in question. The claiming time period will probably be in the FAQs section of the website of the particular state lottery.
