Sou.deaths like a engineer or exasut valve not seating once the engines hot the engine stalls from low compression and will just crank round and not start again until the engine has gone cold .
Youl need to have the head removed and checked for two things 1 a valve still open when it should be used a bent valve stem 2 a thermal crack in the engine block if the block is cracked your need a knew engine block to fix the problem

It sounds like your crank sensor or cam sensor are failing. When either of those two sensors overheat they will shut down the engine until they cool down

Failure to start

Check the Fuel Filter and pump. It sounds like you have an over heat problem in the fuel pump unit or air in the fuel line that is causing vapor lock. This can happen when you let the gas level get below 1/4 tank depending on the temperatures in your area.

Suburban stalls while driving after running for 15-30 minutes. After letting it sit for 5-10 min it runs fine for another 5-10 minutes, then starts doing it all over again.

a bad crank sensor can cause this. shuts off while going down road, and will start about 10 min, later with no problems runs fine until it quits again. hope this helps,

Stalling and hard starting

check the harmonic balancer(crank pulley) to see if it is loose or soaked with oil. if it is loose, the balancer could be broken off around the crank shaft. try turning it by hand, it should not turn easily.
if it is oil soaked this wil also damage the balancer.
these 2 conditions can throw the timing in and out, causing your problem.
good luck
