Hi, I have an all-pro torpedo heater rd200t, was working find went to turn it on & the igniter tip turn on & made a small pop . Replaced it but still does not ignite,

most parts for kero heaters are interchangable. go to desatech dot com for parts. check for a reset button for your heater. if no reset, does the fan run? your unit can use one of two ignition parts. a spark generator with a spark plug or a hot surface igniter. the unit uses a cad cell flame detector. you might need to replace this.

The easiest way to troubleshoot any heater, is to call the manufacturer. Their techs will walk you through each possible problem and solution until you find the answer.

The main circuit board supplies ac power to the ignitor ( black transformer looking device) and the transformer increases the voltage that is supplied to the sparking device. Make sure the wires are connected to the sparking device and the ends of this device are approximately 3mm apart and that it is in the general position near the end of the nozzle. If you do not hear a "clicking" sound it could be the main board, wires or sparking device.

go to the DESA site they have nozzles for just about any torpedo heater.
