This very hard click is not right and I wonder what causes it and the damage it may be doing. Has been this way for about a month.
Has the sound changed? The door lock assemble can be loud and sound like its faulty. If the washer completes cycles, then door lock is working correctly. One thing to check is the strike on the door. Look for anything that is odd or doesn't look right. A damaged strike can create extra noise. Good luck!
Hello please read And please to do this if you know what i are doing .
When the washing machine was working normally
Do you hear 2 clicks when I start any wash program ?
If yes them u got a double effect door lock switch .
How to check :
1. Open door
2. Get a screw driver
3. Turn on the washing machine on any program
(Example wash program make sure to turn water inlet tap closed)
put the screwdriver in the door lock square hole
And move the slide to your right or left depends on the lock mechanism
Start by pushing start button
If u see lock light and started normally then I have problem in door handle broken or hinge problem .
If it fails to lock then u got a damaged door lock switch
Or the electronic module .
