I tried to upgrade to win 10 and hated it. When I tried to go back to win 7 the computer won't boot. It says it's missing files. I don't have the backup cd. I have lots of stuff, pictures, tax info, I don't want to lose.
The problem that microsoft didn't mention is that upgrades to win 10 on win 7 causes conflicts and problems
The correct method is to install win 10 as a full OS and there will be no problems
you can download win 7 from the microsoft (genuine ) site and if there is a problem with authentication call microsoft help line
Before you do anything save everything possible to an external hard drive
Talk with an IT expert would be a good idea before doing anything as there may be a way of removing the win 10 upgrade
