There is a red tinge in the middle of the screen. Have unplugged didn't help

It's an impact point, something has come into contact there

I hope it's under warranty, that sounds to me like a liquid crystal bleed, they nearly always start in the middle and are terminal, I hope I'm wrong.

Sounds like a bad T-Con board which is the board at the Top-Middle of the set. I have also seen the display bad causing that problem in Lg's. Have it looked at first.

it is most likely a burned polarizing filter. There is a polarizing filter on the blue light channel and another on the red channel. When black, or other dark colours are displayed, the red polarizing filter is supposed to block ALL of the red light being projecter. If the filter is burned, some light slips through and creates a red tinge on the projected image. If the red tinge only appears on dark images, but is absent when the images is completely white, a damaged filter is likely the problem.

Seems its hard to buy them. Best bet is probably buying a broken projector from ebay and stealing the filters out of it.

You have a faulty PDP unit. These parts are no longer availible and even so the repair is not economical due to the price.

The HDMI output is setup as a second disply, not Primary disply.
You will need to get into the video Driver settings and configure this for a single monitor.

1. Right click on the desktop
2. select "graphics properties"
3. set up the "Digital Display"

All the steps or naming may be different on you computer, but some of this is fiarly standard.

2 tings, ,lamp fan motor stops or temp. sensor located on optical block activated

Its a maze, you go bottom, top, middle and then theirs the big red door to bowser.

This is a Blue LCD Polarizer that will have to be replaced if the spot shows yellow.

You will find that this will only get worse as time goes by.

can we see a picture of that?? I dont understand whatyour saying about the lines.. Are they differant colors or all red and do they make the pic bow?? does the pic look or have a reddish tinge to it?? is ther too much red in the picture??? Please let us know or let us see??
