ELITE. Why doesn't timer turn off?

you need to put it back on manaul setting it sounds like you have the timer on auto

Maibe you have a bad keyboard and the keyboard buffer gets full (if a broken letter gets stuck and makes permanent contact). If i dont have more details i dont really be sure.

gotta have the correct time set, also check auto brew timer. Coffee pots usually beep when they are done brewing and then when it's turning off, usually after a hour. Play around with timer (hrs. and min.)

the beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram,all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk,and remains active untill turned off.
make sure that your RAM is securely seated
test or replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive make sure the connections are secure

its frozen up or low on gas....the defrost timer has failed or the defrost element has packed it in.the beeping is warning you of a temp failure.

End of Cycle Signal
The End of Cycle Signal produces an audible sound when the
drying cycle is finished. Promptly removing clothes at the end of
the cycle reduces wrinkling.

It appears your timer/main controller has failed in this instance.
