Your problem is not the DMD nor the IC. Try part number bp96-01579a for color wheel. You need to use caution when replacing. The part and flat cable are delicate. Watch a you tube video to get an idea what needs to be done.
if your TV is slow to light up when first turned on its more then likely your bulb. When your bulb start to go bad it will take the TV longer to come on. Try using the bright feature in the menu. If that brightens your TV up then its your lamp going bad.

I suspect that you have something wrong with the bulb. Go back thru the installation procedure again , if that doesn't show anything, check the fan housing and connections
Select TV input, Press Menu, Select Channel, in menu Antenna=Cable (for you), (then perhaps, Auto Program with Cable or Air+Cable), tweak Channel List, turn on LNA if needed, shouldn't be.
Somewhere there may be different modulations, some offset the channel a fraction and are important for channels above 13. I'm basing this on my non-cable Samsung HL-T5687.
BTW, I had an HLS until it gave trouble, paid for an upgrade to LED from bulb when I got HLT. Very pleased, until it fails.
