The television turns on by itself and changes channels by itself. What part do I need to replace?

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

this problem is with the inner small micro-swtches ,the side buttons inside are getting intermittantely short...changing of those switches will solve the prob. tc--

Try One of your working TVS and connect it to your cable outlet of the TV that is having problems. If that TV Does not work then there may be a degraded fitting or the Leg coming of the splitter to that outlet could have a Low Signal Problem
Next Take the First TV that was not working properly and put it on the cable outlet of one of the TVs that is working properly and if the TV set works on that Channel then you know it is not your TV that it must be the cable

I had the same problem. I changed the 4-3 setting on the motorola cable box. Turn off your cable box and press menu. My 4-3 setting was set to auto. If you turn it off, you lose the 4-3 aspect on most channels. I changed mine to 480p and so far it seems to be working. Worth a shot.

Sorry to tell ya but your power supply panel or chip is going out! Mine done the same stuff! Freakin flat screens dont last as long as the older t.v's
