Printer and camera installation

My printer stopped working so I bought another. The programs loaded but did not install. Same for my new camera. Windows installer cannot find drivers on the disk wheich came with either item.

First backup all of your data (Documents, Pictures, email). CD or DVD is good for this. The procedures below could cause you to loose data. Continue at your own risk.

Your problem is not easily fixable, because your MS installer is corrupted. There are two ways to approach this.

If you are using Windows XP then try restoring back several months, or a year. This may fix the installer, but it has never worked for me.

You could attempt to repair the Operating system by booting to the recovery CD.

The only good answer is to reinstall the operating system by using the recovery CD.

Uninstall dot net. GO to install folder and DotNetFramework and just install dot net 4.0. I had a problem with a dot net 4.3 version. uninstall reboot. Install and reboot. That should fix it. Saw many issues with can not install with a lot of installing sketchy programs as well as just do a factory reset but no actual solutions. I figured it was just a simple Microsoft problem. Problem with your version of Dot Net which was probably corrupted.

I have been trying to fix my brother in laws emachines desktop computer for 3 days now. It has Windows Vista and Intel Celeron D Processor 356. I used the recovery disc and the computer started working...
The disk is corrupted and it interferes with the install process. Just get this
http://gparted.sourceforge.net/
boot from it and format your entire disk to reiserfs then to FAT32 - this way any trace of the old NTFS file system is thoroughly wiped. Now launch the recovery process one more time and it will automatically detect the FAT32 partition and will reformat it to NTFS in the process.

I just open my new printer and upon start up installation i accidentally plug the usb ..it just had power then it immediately stop...
Go to Control Panel------> Add or Remove Programs------->
wait for it to load programs installed then scroll down and look for the printer software.


For example, if it is HP printer, look for H then remove Remove HP. It is arranged in alphabetically orders. Look for your printer's manufacturer.

Restart your computer, Unplug the USB then reinstall the software again.

make sure you installed the software properly..sometimes some software requires you connect the printer first then install software...other times you install software first then install printer....make sure the settings are set up the same on the printer and computer....make sure all connections are secure..check owners manual...

S4M doesn´t print
The S4M comes with either EPL or ZPL programming language installed. (installed at factory) The S600 is a ZPL only printer. Check that you have correctly specified the S4M as a ZPL printer. Print a config label to check. If it is set as an EPL printer contact your supplier and ask him to download the correct programming language. It should only take a competent engineer about ten minutes (If he knows what he is doing)

Computer will not accept new printer photosmart c7200
Try disconnecting the printer from the USB port and re-install the software program and when the program asks you to plug in the printer, do so and it should work.
This is a common mistake people make, connecting the printer before they install the software. This may now always be the case.

I bought a Logitech Cordless Optical Mouse for Notebooks-V220 to replace my cordless Microsoft Mouse. The P/N is 630-000031 Rev.002, but it will not download it says it is already used?? How can I get it...
First U have to uninstall any programs installed by first mouse... control panel - add/remove programs.
Leave the new mouse attached.
Then U have to uninstall the old wireless mouse device...
control panel - system - hardware - devices
Reboot... when it detects the device, load the driver for the new mouse from the new mouse cd.
U can load any programs U want from the new mouse cd after insuring the mouse works.
