Rotary controls on digital radios is usually a hidden mechanism just pressing buttons as the knob is turned. Quite possible if your radio has that arrangement it is either worn or broken.

I managed to repair a similar control once by fashioning a part from a piece of scrap plastic.

The volume on my dab dewalt job site radio doesnt work.any ideas how to fix it

If no volume at all it is the unit amplifier. If volume but no adjusting, then the volume control needs cleaning/replacement.

How do I set the fm volume to be the same as dab?

This depends on the Music System. Check the manual, check in settings and see if there is volume normalizer or try keeping the eualizer in defult, or reset the system.

How do I correct a faulty volume on a pure evoke 2 DAB radio

Most likely the audio amplifier chip needs replacing.Other wise you could try spraying "CRC 2-26" into the volume control assembly.

No volume

There are two ways to turn up the volume.

First the mp3 player has the volume dial turn that up all the way

Second there is a volume knob on the dewalt radio it is the black knob on top of radio on the right.

If those two knobs are unsuccessful make sure radio is on AUX there is a button on front right above the two arrows on front of the radio push that button until it says AUX that might be the reason your not getting sound

Volume Control Problems

if the volume control is a rotary dial. The dial itself has gone bad or is worn out.  I'd most likely replace the unit as repair will be about the same price or more.  Buy an mp3 player instead.
