How to remove keypad on ze5730 hp laptop i have a new one want to replace.

turn the laptop over
look for screws marked with a small keyboard symbol next to the screwholes
unscrew them and note where they came from.
Remove the battery, there are six small screws that hold the plastic keyboard bezel in place, remove and note their location.
Turn the laptop over and gently, using a flatbladed screwdriver, prise the bezel loose, take care. as a small ribbon cable connects this to the motherboard.
Lift it off and ease it back.
There are now 4 screws holding the keyboard in place that can be seen, remove these and lift the keyboard up, detach the clip on the ribbon cable to motherboard (carefully).

replace in reverse order

P3015 with a persistent 49.4c03 error on startup. I am an HP tech but this has me stumped. Customer was getting intermittent 49.4c03 error so he attempted a firmware upgrade via USB connection. ...

After unpluging the usb cable the printer would ready but go right back to the error after pluging it back in. We shut down the computer and printer for 30 minutes, when we turned them back on it printed what was in the que but went right back to the error code. Finally, I turned off the printer deleted the P3005 driver from the computer and rebooted, then turned the printer back on. The computer seen the new hardware and reloaded the driver by itself and now is fine.

Loss bios password hp 6735s

Can you boot into Windows? If you can, you can get BIOS password reset programs that will erase it. If you can't boot up, you'll have to bring your laptop back to HP to get it reset.

Froze up last night, turned off, will not turn on now

Try removing the laptop from A/C power, remove the battery, then hold the on/off switch in the ON position for ten seconds. Replace the battery, plug in to A/C and try booting. Laptop may be frozen in 'sleep' state; I have seen this problem with other Toshiba's before.

HP laptop wont start up properly

If it has a CD/DVD drive, and you have a 'startup disk' or similar utility disk that may have come with the system, you can put the CD in the drive, and see if it will boot from there. Normally holding down the 'F12' key will give you the menu to choose which device to boot from.

If you're not comfortable trying that type of thing, it's probably best to take it to a repair center.

Good luck, and post any updates,

Problems booting

I have seen this case already in a HP notebook system also. This is what i'll suggest you do. If you are good at P C repair you could take apart the system carefully and try and reset the CMOS battry. In must case the battry could be old. Memory and Hard Disk could also be a factor.

Hp laptop froze

Hello,

I understand that notebooks boots into safemode, but when you are trying to reinstall the OS it is freezing, let me assist you in this regard.

As the notebook is frezing while installing the OS, first we need to check the Harddrive.

In DV6000 notebooks, there will be option to do Harddrive selft test.

1 Restart the notebook
2. At HP logo screen keep pressing the F10 key to open BIOS.
3. In the BIOS you can find the Diagnose Tab. (Select it)
4. Under that click on harddrive self test.

If the test pass, you need another set of recovery disks to Restore notebook to factory settings.

If the test fails, then you need to replace the harddrive.

If the notebook is under warranty, then you will get new harddrive from HP.
