The hand set does not work I can not talk or recieve. but it will ring when a call comes in and leave information

You need to remove or unset the phone contact filtering. That is on the phone call settings.

1.sit in front of a pc having net connection with your phone in hand.
2.goto this link

3.select your region on page
enter ur phone no.
login
4.a one time pin will come on ur phone.
enter on the page,again login.
5.choose ur phone and click send
there u are , u will recieve settings instantly

More information is needed.....But, it sounds like you are trying to turn off/change the ring tone of an incoming call. It's easy to do, I left you a download link for the manual below.

Here are the steps to change your ring tone:

1. Leave the hand-set on the cradle
2. Now just press the flash key repeatedly to scroll through all the different ring tones or to turn it off.

Only one press for each display,
When you press the FAX RECEIVE MODE button, the display should change each time you press. eg: AUTO, FAX ONLY
When you see the FAX ONLY, press the SET button and leave it like that. Don't try to do it when the fax rings. Do it when the fax machine is idle.

How to receive calls
Just leave it. When the other party sends a fax,
the fax machine will receive it automatically.

Check if the machine is set on automatic recieve.
When on manual recieve, you'll have to start recieving manualy by pressing the button.

My Mode was wrong. I switched it to telephone and fax (instead of manual). Then i set the ring to pick up on the third ring. now i dont have to be here to press start everytime a fax comes. I found all the information by searching for the manual on line it is under "Basic fax settings"

i have a v580a telstra phone i cant get the time or numberws to show up on the hand set ? can you help

i think this is service provider error. u call ur service provider then inform this issu. they give some solution to u.

you need to watch during ringing period need to click ok or press what ever message says.
