This particular model uses tubes instead of bulbs. Those are not easy to replace or find. But depending on what your issue is (ie cloudy picture) you might benefit from a "repair kit" that comes with crt coolant, a pump and instructions on the process.
Why do you need to replace them? Is one color out?

TV turns on, hear sound but no picture. Bulb isn't coming on. TV goes off after about 2-3 minutes. Bulb was just replaced 5 months ago.

Need the model number of the set and also if any lights on the TV come on or blink when the picture goes out or not.

Tv won't turn on. All three lights flash in sequence power heat then bulb. The bulb appears to be in tact.

I will need the model number of the set in order to assist with the issue as the three lights blinking is an error code which would be different based on which model number TV you have.

The screen is almost totally black.

You may need a new projector bulb for your tv. Search for "JVC Projection TV Replacement Bulb" + your tv model number on amazon.com and you should be able to find one.
Once you have the bulb, refer to your TV manual to install the bulb.

Your model doesnt have a bulb since its a rear projection TV . It has three picture tubes, However loss of video with audio still working is usually caused by a vertical output failure.

Call Encompass electronics 1-800-638-3328 also part # is on Tube you have a RED/GREEN/Blue each tube has part number on it.UNless you have DLP TV then it would be a Lamp.

Bulb replacement is easy process and mostly it is written on owner's manual of TV.

Green bulb or tube

Let me know the symptom in detail.
Green bulb (CRT) gives high bright light and tv goes to standby? Do you see few horizontal (retrace) lines while this happens? If yes, you need to replace Green bulb (CRT) of your tv.
Please mention exact model number of tv to guide you further.
and what IC chip you replaced in tv?

I have a 52" LG Prjection TV model number RU52SZ30 and it turns off after 45 seconds, also the blinking lights flickers on the lamp. What should I do first replace the lamp or reset the tv and how can I reset my TV. If a lamp problem where can I purchase one and how much and if I buy a lamp and I still have the same problem what do I do now.
