I had a similar problem with a maytag and it was the lid switch. I put a new one in and it worked just fine. Hope this works for you. Cost about 10 dollars.

Hi, you got water pump problem, some pump have a filter you can remove and clean, or some some small clothing could get into it. or you can open water pump and manually check for foreign object. you can empty machine, by lowering drain hose to floor level, you will need somthing to collect water, then check pump.
Door lock switch # 131763245 if everything else is working fine this should fix the problem. It shorts out between the motor control board and the door lock from emptying the cycle and spinning. Try running your machine on drain/spin and see if it drains and tosses clothes and then stops with no spin. If that happens then it is your door lock.switch. Easy to replace by yourself and costs $65.00
