Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

SOURCE: EMERSON LC320EMX WHEN TURN ON GREEN LIGHT FLASHES THEN GOES TO RED

Sounds like capacitor/s failing on the power board. This is a common issue and there is lots of literature and even videos on how to perform the repair on web. A shop will charge upwards of $200 for this repair yet if you find the components and only have them change those; perhaps they will work with you on cost. GL!

I fell asleep on my Emerson LC320EMX 32 hdtv remote; when I awoke, the tv was flashing ONLY colors (red, black,blue,white)...Now, How do I get it out of that mode....I was told its stuck in set-mode ?

I had this problem with the LC320EMX, after extensive searching on the internet, I found a solution. The TV has entered some kind of test pattern, to escape from the flashing color test pattern do the following:
While the screen is changing from red, green,Blue,White, & Black, and is Unresposive, Take your factory remote, Press the up arrow, then the down arrow, then (ON THE TV) press the power button. Turn the set back on and it should be functioning properly. (BTW: the set gets into this test pattern if you press too many buttons on the remote, or if you use a universal remote with the wrong code)

When we power on our Emerson TV Model LC320EM82

The flashing light is a code for the issue with the television. Find exactly what the code is and look it up in a service manual. Then you will know what is wrong and can move forward with the repair

Stays in standbye and will only flash green (power on) twice before staying in standbye

The 6 inverter transformers on the bottom of the picture is the problem and what need to be tested.
Unplug the 6 wires that goes to the LCD screen. Use a multimeter to test for resistance from each output plug on the board. The one without the resistance is the bad one.
If this doesn't locate the bad one this way, Each plug should give out DC voltage if working properly. Test each plug for voltage.
The TV will automatically turn off in a couple of seconds like before. You'll have to keep pushing the power button to test each output plug for voltage.

Soon as you find the bad Inverter Transformer, just solder in a new one and the TV should work fine after that.
The part # for the Inverter Transformer is LTZ2PC0MS008.
Here's two places to get them:
