There are a couple of things you could check on this one if you have the equipment and are somewhat skilled in electronics.
Take a test meter if you have one, if not try the local radio shack. Unplug the set and remove the back. Locate F802 a small pico fuse in the SMPS 4a/125v. Test this for open - if open replace it...
Next locate Q472 ( 2SC1740 ) a common NPN amp transistor which will cross to NTE85 in a pinch. This transistor is in the shutdown circuit and if it's failed usually causes the conditions you have there..
Try at least these, and if anything here sounds the slightest complicated take it to a shop - it should be a rather inexpensive repair...

Power button is green - no blinks / no picture / no sound

Unplug it from the wall, wait 2 minutes and plug it back in. if problem still exists, its probably the main pcb.

Sony FD Trinition WEGA KV-32fs120 32" (no picture)

If the standby light is blinking 5 times then repeating, it is likely a problem in your picture tube or related circuitry. Other possibilities include the "Jungle" IC which takes care of the video, chroma and deflection processes and is a bear to replace. Either way, it could be an expensive repair.
