Touch screen not responding when using stylus.

Yes, leaving it mounted in the hot sun on the dash did happen a few times. If this is the cause of the touch screen not responding then what is the fix?

    Thanks,

    Rick

Is it just possible you left the Navman mounted on the screen in hot weather whilst away from the vehicle? I made a little white jacket for mine with a heat reflecting liner.

Screen touch

Refer to the trouble shooting at Nintendo. Your screen may not be working due to the game your playing if any. If that's not the case you may need to recalibrate your touch screen.

How do i recalibrate the leapster gs screen stylus and screen

SolutionIf your Leapster system does not respond to the stylus pen, it needs to be calibrated. To calibrate your Leapster system:
  1. Turn the unit on and wait for the sign-in screen to appear.
  2. Hold down the Home, Hint, and B buttons simultaneously.
  3. When the screen changes, press the A button.
  4. Using the Stylus, touch the center of the targets.

Does not respond to stylus

Try recalibrating the touch screen. Devices with touch screens need to be recalibrated in order to respond properly. The greater the use, the more often recalibration is necessary. I recalibrate my phone once a week. I hope this helps.
