Did you log out of your account first before attempting to log her in? Sounds like you're logged into your own account and then attempted to log her in as well. Only one person can be logged in at a time. Each user must log in/out before switching to another user.

How do I log in?

If you already have an account just log in to Instagram by opening the app on your phone or in a web browser and log in.

If you don't have an account you will need to install the Instagram app on your phone and create an account. After you create an account you can log in.

Yes. Each of you will have separate log-in information. So you first need to make sure you have your own correct log-in information handy, then you'll need to log off from your account. To log off, go to Facebook in your browser. In the top dark blue bar on the right is a little triangle pointing down. Click that and a menu will open. Select "Log Out" from that menu. Now you or your wife can create a Facebook account for her.

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

You will need to first log out from your friends account. Once logged out, you can then sign in with your own Facebook account. Once your are finished viewing Facebook, make sure to log out of your account.
When your friend returns to their computer they will then just need to log into their own account.

When I log into yahoo mail it logs in to the user id I have requested for it to keep me logged in for 2 weeks. How do I log into Yahoo under a different user id under these circumstances?

You can't. You cannot be simultaneously logged into 2 yahoo accounts. You need to log out of the existing one to log into the second yahoo ID. However you may be simultaneously logged into 1 yahoo email and ine google or hotmail. The way around this is to have a second user account on the computer and be logged simultneously into both user accounts, and be logged into a diffferent yahoo email in each user account

If her account is still open (not logged out) then you can logged out from ither page, and then log in your account. To log out, you need to open the FB page and go to "account" on the top right, then select "logout" from the dropdown menu.
