Hey Michelle,

Did someone share a contact with you over email or text that you are trying to add to favorites?

As long as your have added this contact to any of your contact lists in google then you will be able to Favorite it. You just might have to open the contact from the google contacts application first.

If possible could you add what device you are trying to add this favorite for? And can you add where the contact is from?

Here are the steps for adding a new contact:

1. Click the Add Contacts button and choose Add a contact.
2. Type in the contact's name if you have it.
3. Type in the contact's email address.
4. Check the box for Permission to send.
5. Once that box is checked, you will see a line under the email address that says Add to Lists.

Hi Bridgett, When you add a contact make sure you add them to your cell phone and NOT your sin card as your sim won't accept a picture, To add a picture to your contact tap on your CONTACTS, Tap on the contact picture space, Tap on the picture space again and follow the prompts, I hope this helps........CHEERS..

Yes, there is, just add the phone number to the dial pad, and instead of making the call, tap the + to add to contact.

if you are probably trying to cal your friends out of skype, so you need skype credit to call outside. Just in case you add your friends(who are on skype too) to skype, you can call for free.

You can add contact following these steps:

In the menu bar, click Contacts > Add a Contact.

Enter the Email, Phone number, Full name or skype name(if you already know your friend's name on skype) of the person you want to add. If the Skype account of the person you wish to add is displayed, click Add below the contact.

If more than one Skype account matches your search:
Click View for a list of matching Skype accounts and click Add contact next to the one you wish to add. Before the contact can be added, you must send a contact request to that person. Enter some text to introduce yourself and click Send request. The contact will be added to your contact list, but will appear offline until they accept your request. Once the person agrees to your request, they will be added to your Contact list. Then you can make free calls and free video calls to that person.

Only Group can use different ringtones, but not each contact.

You have to create Group then add contacts to the group.

Select Menu---> Contacts.

To create a contact group, scroll to each contact you want to add to the group, and select

Options > Mark/Unmark > Mark.

Select Options > Group > Add to group > Create new group, and enter a name for the group.

Add contacts to the group from option in contacts.

In the Group Option, you'll have menu to assign ringtones to the saved contacts in group.

Groups can contain any number of contacts, and even just a single member, so you could, for instance, have one ringtone for family members, one for work colleagues and one for your partner.
To create a group, assign a ringtone and image and then select a group's members, follow these instructions:

• From the main menu, highlight Contacts and click Select.
• Highlight Groups and click Select.
• Click Add (or if you have already added groups, click Options, highlight Add new group and click Select).
• Enter a name for the group and click OK.
• Highlight the group's name in the list and click Options.
• Highlight Group details and click Select.
• Highlight Group ringing tone and click Select
• Highlight Open Gallery, click Select, locate the ringtone in your gallery and click Select to apply.
• Highlight Group image and click Select.
• Click Add, highlight From Gallery, click Select, locate the image in your gallery and click Select.
• Now highlight Group members and click Select. Click Add and your contacts list will open. Highlight the contacts you want to add to the group and click Select. You can add as many contacts as you like to each group.

If you want to add contacts to an existing group, highlight the group's name on the Groups screen, click View and click Add to display your contacts list. Highlight a contact and click Select to add them.

hi, after log in to your account on skype under contacts drop-down menu there is first option to "add a contact". There you can add/invite any person having skype id for chatting.

Also just below your display name "contacts" option is there.
It has first option as "+Add" , you can add here also.

Go to the menu, then go to your contacts. It will say 'Add New' press okay, and add your contacts.
