Why won't it start?

Installed a new battery because the old one had a dead cell. The car started but had malfunction lights( ABS,electrical, ect.)I returned the car off and it wouldn't start. I unhocked the positive to let it reset. It started fine but with malfunction lights. I turned the car off and it wouldn't start.

Your battery charging system is defective, the battery is going dead and that is the cause of the other issue like the ABS light. Get the charging system diagnosed.

You have a Malfunction Light on

ABS Light --- that is not something new
to anyone,check for codes as always

Most likely need professional scan tool
to access the abs module, so you also need
a repair shop as always

I have a problem with a 2008 Dodge Charger, my battery went bad and I had to jump it off to take it and get a new battery put in but now my new battery won't start my car not even when the new battery...

When you jump started the vehicle, it started as normal and you drove to a shop to have a new battery installed.?? Correct??

1. Who removed the old battery and installed the new one?

2. Did the car start normally immediately after the new battery was fitted? How frequently were you able to drive the car on the new battery before the problem you described appeared?

3. Has anything been done to the vehicle since the new battery was fitted.?

Just as a precaution, please check the brake fluid reservoir on that model. There is a sensor at the base of the master cylinder which can leak brake fluid over the wiring circuit, and cause the electrics to short out. In some extreme cases this has caused fires in some vehicles. This is why Ford had issued a recall to this particular model in the states at least.

94 jeep hard to start like battery is weak

starter cannot act good if it does not spin the engine over quickly with new battery
pull it for a bench test under load
check and clean terminals and check for good ground point

Electrical power system service required.....ABS warning light, generator warning light, brake failure...car stalled and wont't restart

usually caused by failed generator. Fix the generator and other lights will also extinguish. The car should jump start, but will not stay running without a charged battery. Recommend removing the generator and take to parts store for testing. Would you like instructions for removing generator?
