You need to log into router and enable printers Mac address to the list of allowable devices , router should be accessible directly using a web browser (explorer?) on any device on network already just enter router Ip address number into top destination line , (example of proper formatt is 192.168.100.001) this should bring you to log in page , enter password (yours) into avail spot and press enter , if successful then it will open to a new page that has all the items down left side of page , select dhcp tab and go to list of devices , click ip number of printer(its assigned allready) , select refresh on top tab your new printers ip number /model number/mac address should be there , select exit now your devices on network can "see" it you will need to enable/install this printer on those devices in order to use it , it does not have to be a defalt device on any item on network

Dell V510 printer worked fine wirelessly until we got a new Belkin Router

The printer's IP address most likely needs to be changed.
Check the Belkin's IP address range (it maybe 192.168.2.***) and configure the printer's IP address accordingly.

Can i setup the belkin f7d4302 as a wireless bridge

belkin does not support this. The only way you can do it is by running a cable to the router to extend your wireless signal around the house. I did a similar setup with a powerline network adapter if running a cat5 cable is not a option. just make sure you change the main ip address for the 2nd router to like 192.168.2.2 and disable dhcp since the main router will handle dhcp. also make sure the wireless settings are the same and channel is different if 1st router is channel 1 then use channel 6 or 11 for the 2nd router.

My G Mimo Plus adapter won't pull and IP address. Any suggestions?

Is there a RESET button on the back of the router, if so power it up and press the RESET button until all the LEDs flash and reconfigure the router.
Try a different LAN cable, the other could be faulty
Install the latest LAN and wireless card drivers (this problem sometimes occurs when you install a new router).
Check the LAN and wireless cards are functioning correctly in Device Manager.

Open the DOS cmd window.
Test the NIC - loopback test address - ping 192.0.0.1
Ping the router's IP configuration address
Type ipconfig to see what IP address you get (if any)
Type inconfig /renew all - this will (should) get a new IP address from the router's DHCP

Let me know how things work out.

I have a N1 belkin wireless router and have lost the disc. is there a way to install and configure a network without it?

First RESET your router to defaults.
for that press RESET button for 10 seconds RESET button is in back side of router.
Then connect your router to computer with ethernet cable.
Then you can access it with following link.
http://192.168.15.1

type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or blank or "password"
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Set WAN settings as your internet service provider settings.
Enable DHCP .
CLick on wireless and enable wi fi.
If you want secure router then enable WEP security then add new code it is your password key for connect wi fi.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thanks.

I want to find out the dns code for my belkin56g

If the light is yellow then you are connected to your wireless network, but not connected to the internet, make sure that airport is configured ( configure IPv4) for DHCP under TCP/IP tab so you can get an IP address. Don't worry about DNS servers, they should be provided automatically once you have an IP address.
if the light is grey try Configure IPv4 just with DHCP, not with manual address, and click the renew DHCP Lease button

Surfboard Cablemodem not communicating with Belkin Wireless Routr

If the modem is actually passing out DHCP, then you have to connect the modem to the router 4 port lan side and not the wan port. Give the router a static ip like 192.168.1.2 and you can talk to it and configure the wireless features.

Using just the VOIP part of a Belkin all in one router??

You will probably need to set it up differently, I do not know the belking router, but normally the VOIP functions only work on the wan port of these routers so you should make the connections as follows:

INET ---> (wan) DLINK (lan) -----> (wan) BELKIN (voip) --> Phone
|--------> Wired Computers
|--- ) ) ) Wi Fi computers

On the DLINK enable DHCP and set a fixed IP for the Belkin router, either by setting the belkin in an IP outside the DHCP pool or setting it from the DHCP server.

This configuration workd well with a DLINK and a Motorola (vonage) router I have.

Belkin wireless router

Hi,

Your Belkin router is normally configured to get a dynamic IP Add from your Internet provider unless otherwise configured. Most ISP's network where clients/subscribers connect (through DSL) has a DHCP server that hands out this IP adds. If your router keeps on changing its WAN IP add, it may presumably be because:
1. Your router keeps on rebooting or powering on/off and everytime it turns on, it is given a new IP add;
2. Your ISP's DHCP server keeps on renewing its lease on the IP add given to your router.

Corrective measures would entail:
a. Do a full hard reset of your router and go through the installation setup again. Of course this would revert all settings/configuration to factory default; and/or
b. Contact your ISP and explain your concern.

In some cases, the router's MAC address has an issue that the ISP's DHCP is keeping a hard time recognizing it. this can be corrected with a firmware update.

Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things tunrs up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kin regards.

Ip conflict by using media of fiber cable in same network

You can configure the router to hand out DHCP clients in an assigned range. Set a limit on the DHCP clients, then configure the fiber connection as static and outside of the DHCP range. then they cannot conflict.
